Pickup Locations
Birds may be picked up at the House of Glunz on Dec 3, at the Green City Market or the House of Glunz on Dec 17 and at Heritage Prairie Market near Geneva on Dec 18. See below for details on times and locations. Please plan on a check or cash for a balance owed as we can not take credit cards at the pickup locations.
We send an e-mail reminder of the pickup a few days before pickup so make sure our e-mail address, caveny1@prairieinet.net , is not blocked. If you have any questions, contact us by e-mail or by phoning (217) 762-7767.
1) The House of Glunz, 1206 N. Wells St. Chicago, will host a pickup Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 from 2:00 -5:00 PM during The House of Glunz Saturday Tasting. Pick-up your heritage turkey & grab some great wine with one stop.
The House of Glunz, 1206 N. Wells St. Chicago, will host a pickup Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 from 2:00 -5:00 PM during The House of Glunz Saturday Tasting. Last chance this year to pickup your bird & grab some great wine with one stop.
2) TheGreen City Market pickup will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 in outside of the Market at The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, Chicago, IL 60614 (northwest corner of Fullerton Parkway and Cannon Drive in Lincoln Park). Please pickup between 8:00 AM - 12:00 noon. Note the Indoor Market continues until 1 pm. Our white vehicle will be parked on the street near the entrance to the Market.
4) The Geneva pickup location will be at the Prairie Heritage Market on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Market is located at 2N308 Brundige Road, Elburn IL just west of Randall Road on Highway 38. .
5) You may pickup at Caveny Farm by emailing or calling to arrange a mutually convenient date & time. No on-farm pickup Dec 17 & 18. Our farm is located at 1999 N 935 East Road, Monticello, IL 61856, about 20 miles west of Champaign-Urbana.

Order your Heritage Poultry for pickup for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Caveny Farm will deliver to select Chicago farmer's markets for pickup for the holidays.
